Account Information

Tally Integration Data

When you connect your Tally.so account, we store:

  • Your Tally API key (encrypted)
  • Form metadata (form ID, name)
  • Tally Response IDs for linking submissions

We do NOT permanently store your Tally form responses. Form response data is fetched live from Tally when you view it and is not cached on our servers.

Exam Session Data

For each exam session, we collect:

  • Pre-exam information provided by respondents (name, email, ID - as configured by you)
  • Session start time and duration
  • Submission status (completed, timed out, abandoned)
  • Tab switch events and timestamps (if proctoring is enabled)

Technical Data

We automatically collect:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device information
  • Usage logs

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and maintain the CherryFill service
  • Display countdown timers and track exam sessions
  • Connect with your Tally.so account to fetch forms and submissions
  • Send important service notifications
  • Improve our service and fix issues
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Tally.so: To fetch your forms and submission data via their API
  • Payment processors: To process subscription payments (Stripe)
  • Cloud infrastructure: Our service runs on Google Cloud Platform

Data Retention

  • Account data is retained until you delete your account
  • Exam session data is retained until you delete the associated timer
  • Deleting a timer permanently removes all associated sessions and submissions

  • Encryption at rest for sensitive data (API keys, passwords)
  • Secure cloud infrastructure with regular security updates
